Join our online info session on Monday 20th July 7-8:30pm to find out about our volunteering opportunities. Register here.

Expert Witness Service: We provide independent social work reports used as expert evidence in immigration and asylum matters. These reports are the outcome of a specialist social work assessment and make recommendations about a person or family’s needs, safety and welfare. We welcome UK‑registered social workers and social work students to join this team and prepare social work reports, ensuring that people’s voices are heard in legal proceedings where life-changing decisions are being made.

Education: We deliver workshops for social work students, social workers and allied professionals on migration‑justice informed practice. If you have lived experience of the UK immigration or asylum system, or you’ve supported people navigating it (as a social worker or in another role), you can help equip future social workers with the knowledge and skills they need. Volunteers co‑deliver sessions, sharing insight, practical exercises, and resources.

If you can’t make this date, look out for future dates on the Events page on our website. Any questions, please get in touch: info@socialworkerswithoutborders.org
