Our Specialist Social Workers work closely with the Head of Expert Witness Service to ensure the delivery of high-quality independent social work reports (ISWRs). They supervise volunteer social workers, quality assure reports, carry out social work assessments themselves, and contribute towards volunteer training opportunities and service development to maintain excellence in social work practice.

The Specialist Social Worker role is designed to be undertaken over three days per week. There is also an opportunity to work additional days, up to full-time, by taking on additional service operations and referral coordination responsibilities, as outlined in the recruitment pack.
